None of the Above -- Jenny Lyn Bader

Premiered in 2003 by New Georges at Ohio Theatre in NYC. Off-Bway in 2007 by South Ark Stage Company at Lion Theatre in NYC.

JAMIE: Posh, spoiled NYC student, 17. Also brilliant, but never cares to apply herself.
CLARK: Her SAT tutor, who is a gambler and made essentially a bet with her father that he could have her get a 2400 in exchange for paying off his gambling debts, and college.

This play is pretty dang amazing. Definitely my type. I think my favorite part, (which happens over the course of the entire play) is JAMIE'S characterization, revealing that she in fact, does know things, but just never feels like applying herself. I think Clark has the potential to realize that, and find himself drawn to her. Cause it is a love story by the end. He said he agreed to it, cause he thought her dad (who counts cards just like Clark) was genius, and maybe she was too. So maybe that's part of why he agreed to it in the first place, the hope that she would be perfect for him.

So complicated characters and motivations.

Not particularly any active bits, lot of storytelling, lot of banter. Active moments would be reactions to her revealing her intelligence. All head-centered. Might be good for Big Bang or something along those lines.
